Omega Thermal Technologies, Inc.This is a listing of designed and projected waste processing facilities that will be updated periodically as new material is prepared for release.
Yaroslavl – in the Russian Federation
OTT has just completed the detailed design of the first unit which will incorporate all of the OTT options to make the facility truly "Waste In – No Waste Out".
The client, located north of Moscow on the Volga River, is one of the largest petrochemical complexes in Europe. The facility will treat:
- Petrochemical process sludge
- Biological water treatment sludge
- Solid waste from the petrochemical complex
- Solid waste from the City of Yaroslavl (including medical waste)
- Contaminated soils
- Liquid petrochemical waste
The process will feature the following:
- Containerized bulk waste handling
- Two stage ram charge system
- Third generation vibratory hearth solid waste combustion system
- Fluidized bed combustion unit
- Vortex liquid burners
- Heat recovery boiler
- Condensing turbo generator set for electric power generation
- Throttle and desuperheater unit to produce process steam
- Vitrification unit for the production of building materials
- Multi-stage dry air pollution control train
- Metal recovery
Boryslav – in the Republic of Ukraine
OTT has completed the preliminary design of a facility similar in nature to the Yaroslavl system but which also envisions the utilization of a gas turbine electric power generator to process hydrocarbon gas, which is available from a local refinery.
The facility will process the wastes associated with an operation to drill 20 new oil wells in the Carpathian mountain region of the Ukraine. Some of the local wastes will be processed as well. The specific waste streams will include:
- Drilling wastes and sludge
- Municipal solid waste
- Solid waste from the petrochemical complex
- Contaminated soils
- Gaseous petrochemical waste
The process will feature the following:
- Containerized bulk waste handling
- Two stage ram charge system
- Third generation vibratory hearth solid waste combustion system
- Fluidized bed combustion unit
- Gas fired turbo generator
- Heat recovery boiler
- Condensing turbo generator set for electric power generation
- Vitrification unit for the production of building materials
- Multi-stage dry air pollution control train
- Metal recovery
